REEBOK LAUNCHES ACTIVCHILL, A NEW APPAREL LINE DESIGNED TO HELP KEEP ATHLETES COOL AND HELP MAXIMIZE POTENTIAL
Reebok’s new ActivChill apparel has enhanced breathability and moisture wicking properties to help keep athletes cool
Reebok announced a new collection of training and running apparel featuring ActivChill technology, designed to keep athletes cool while working out. Created using a new and proprietary technology, the Reebok ActivChill line brings unique cooling technology to fitness athletes globally.
ActivChill fabric is designed with atypical pentagon shaped fibers, which create airy spaces, promoting ventilation. This helps the athlete stay cool and comfortable when the competition starts to heat up. This innovative fabric creates an exciting, new concept from Reebok, offering athletes great performance and comfort.
ActivChill apparel also features SpeedWick technology which wicks away excess moisture from the body athletes helping feel fresh and dry while training.
Corinna Werkle, General Manager of Training at Reebok, said: “When creating the best products for athletes of all kinds, we’re constantly seeking solutions that help enhance performance. We talked to thousands of fitness enthusiasts globally and learned that overheating during a workout is a key performance barrier.”
Reebok’s VP of Functional Training, Kenny Gamble, added: “ActivChill technology has the potential to be a game changer for athletes across multiple sports and activities. We’re hoping we can help athletes stay cool in the heat of competition.”
ActivChill technology, perfect for any workout, will be available exclusively from Reebok starting in Spring/Summer 2016 from February 1st at Reebok concept store and selected Planet Sports and Sport Station, and through www.reebok.com.
